What's New?
Church Keys - If you have a church key that you are no longer using for a specific purpose, please return it to the office. These keys are very expensive to cut and there is currently a need for more.

The Pancake Supper is our annual ritual feast to prepare for the season of Lent. It is being held on Tuesday, March 4 at 6:00 pm. Join us in the celebration!
Tickets: Adults $15; Children 12 (and under) $8; Family $50.

Palms - Don’t forget to collect your palms from last Palm Sunday to bring to the Pancake Supper to be burned and turned into the Ash Wednesday ashes! And wear a costume!
Ash Wednesday services will be at 12:00 noon (no music) and 7:00 pm (with hymns).
The Clocks go forward on the evening of March 8. If yours don’t adjust automatically, make sure to change them or be late for church!
Reminders
Anniversary of the Council of Nicaea. Since 2025 is the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, at which the Nicene Creed was created, Rev'd Grace is considering offering an educational series on the Creed and its history and meaning. St. Michael's Mission - February Food of the Month is peanut butter.
New: There is a need for plastic pill containers (with lids) to distribute shampoo and /or soap. Please remove any labels.
Ongoing Needs: Clean yogurt containers (with lids), tooth brushes, toothpaste, shampoo along with clothing, belts & socks.
Around Town
The Montreal Dio has announced its online course offerings for winter 2025. In Lent (Thursdays, March 6-27, from 7-8:30 PM) Ryan Turnbull, Diocesan Discipleship Developer for the Diocese of Rupert’s Land, will lead the course “Being Here: Exploring Christian Witness in Our Place.” All Saints’ will register as a parish for the Lenten course and the link will be shared so that anyone who would like to participate can do so.
Christ Church Beaurepaire - A regular West Island Youth Group is starting up! We will gather on the final Friday of the month, from 6-8:30 PM, beginning on January 31, at Christ Church Beaurepaire. All Saints by the Lake supports the Dorval Community Aid food pantry. Non-perishable food items may be dropped off during office hours or when you come to a church service. Thank you for your ongoing support!
Ways to Donate to Support the Work of All Saints by the Lake
If making your gift into the plate at any service (weekly, monthly, or occasional), enclose your cheque or cash in an envelope with your name and (ideally) number, directing its use as you desire (i.e. General, building, special project or mission, etc.). Guest envelopes in the sanctuary may be used for this purpose. Your unused giving envelopes from previous years may also be used (just change the date).
